“We took half of the budget from the deputies to convert it into academic scholarships for our children and youth. With these actions we seek to ensure that every student from Sonora has the opportunity to have an academic scholarship,” he said.
From September 2021 to July 2024the state government has awarded more than 330 thousand scholarships, with an investment of more than 1.7 billion pesos. For the current year, have been allocated 740 million pesos to benefit 152,035 students, a record number in the history of Sonora.
