Governor Durazo fulfills Navojoa’s promise with decent and universal health service

With the commitment that no person is left without medical care in the state, the Governor Alfonso Durazo Montano noted the progress of the General Hospital of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Navojoa, with an investment of 1,864 million pesos.

Along with the head of IMSS Sonora, Maria de Lourdes Diaz Espinoza and the Director of Operation and Evaluation of the IMSS, Javier Guerrero GarciaThe head of the state Executive toured the hospital facilities and led the ninth session of the Citizen Committee for Monitoring and Social Testimony (CCSTS) in the construction process of said hospital.

“As of December 1st, the first module, which is the office, imaging consultation, laboratory and pharmacy, will be operational. And then there will be a similar work in Guaymas and another in San Luis Rio Colorado“, he said.

This hospital will have a capacity of 90 beds, benefiting more than 96 thousand inhabitants from the south of the entity, such as Alamos, Huatabampo, Navojoa, Etchojoa and Villa Juarez.

It should be noted that in the current administration, the Government of Sonora has allocated nearly 40 billion pesos, the highest figure in recent years, to infrastructure and other actions, such as the opening of 240 health centers.

On behalf of Citizens’ Committee for Monitoring and Social Testimony (CCSTS) in the process of building the hospital in Navojoa, Laura Lorena Velarde Araiza He thanked the work that will provide health and peace of mind to the beneficiaries.

On his working tour of the Pearl of Maythe Sonoran governor delivered six new vans and two semi-new trucks, which will be assigned to lines 3 Pueblo Viejo-Misioneros, 6 Deportiva-Fovissste and 5 Tetanchopo, with the aim of facilitating the transportation of students during the return to classes next Monday, August 26. In addition, two routes will be reactivated with four units operated by the Institute of Mobility and Transportation for the State of Sonora (Imtes).

Later, in Guaymas, Governor Durazo chaired the Third Session of the Citizen Committee for Monitoring and Social Testimony (CCSTS) in the process of beginning construction of the General Hospital of the Zone, in said municipality, whose investment is more than three billion pesos and will have 120 beds.
