The delegation of 72 Mexican brigade members arrived in California this Saturday afternoon to help fight the fires.
Gavin Newsomgovernor of California, thanked the president Claudia Sheinbaum for the support and reported that “72 firefighters and emergency personnel have just arrived from Mexico to respond to the fires in Los Angeles”.
The governor noted that “emergencies have no borders and we are eternally grateful to the President, Claudia Sheinbaum, for her unconditional support during these difficult times.”

“We are not divided, there are no walls here, bridges of alliance and cooperationnot only of American citizens, but of the four million Mexicans who live in Los Angeles and 12 million throughout the state of California,” said one of the officials of the Chancellery who received the brigade members.
This Saturday, the president Claudia Sheinbaum reported that this Saturday he left for California a humanitarian aid group to support firefighting.
“At this moment the group of humanitarian aid to Los Angeles, California. “We are a generous and supportive country,” the president wrote on social networks.

The President thanked the “team of the Plan DN-III-E of the Secretary of Defenseto the forest fighters already Laura Velazquez, national coordinator of Civil Protection. “You carry with you the courage and the heart of Mexico.”
On the eve, Civil defense reported that it is a solidarity mission to support the fight against the serious forest fires that affect the southern region of California, in the United States.
The Mexican delegation was received by the Governor of California, @CAgovernor and the Mexican consuls in Los Angeles and Sacramento @ConsulMexLan y @consulmexsacas well as representatives of @CAL_FIRE.
