Jaipur : In Rajasthan, there is a tussle between BJP and Congress regarding Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools. On one hand, Education Minister Madan Dilawar is preparing to convert these schools back to Hindi medium, while on the other hand, Congress has warned that if this happens, we will destroy the Bhajan Lal government brick by brick. Meanwhile, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara has given a big statement. He has warned the Bhajan Lal government that if it tries to convert English medium schools then the government will have to face serious consequences. Let us tell you that these schools were opened during the government of Ashok Gehlot and the public appreciated it a lot.
If schools are converted, we will destroy them brick by brick.
It is noteworthy that Education Minister Madan Dilawar had recently expressed his intention to convert the English medium schools established during the Gehlot government back to Hindi. The education department has started the process in this regard. Dotasara has given a stern warning to the Bhajanlal government regarding this action. In which he said that if English medium schools were changed to Hindi then it would lead to the downfall of the government. He warned that if the government moves forward on this, the common man, laborers and farmers will come out on the streets.
Shouldn’t poor children get education in English?
The department has started the process regarding the proposal of Bhajanlal government to convert English medium schools into Hindi medium. At present, anger among the people against this decision is increasing. Targeting the Bhajanlal government, Dotasara said that if the children of BJP leaders study in convent schools, then should the children of the poor not get English education? Taking aim at BJP, he said that this reflects the ideology of BJP. It is noteworthy that during the tenure of Gehlot government, many Hindi medium schools were converted to English medium. However, after the Bhajan Lal government came to power in Rajasthan, many decisions taken by the Gehlot government are being reversed. In such a situation, speculations are being made that Bhajanlal government is actively working to convert English medium schools back to Hindi medium.
