Interior Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that the government is going to take various measures to control drugs. Drug godfathers will be brought to justice.
He told reporters after the first meeting of the law and order advisory committee at the secretariat on Tuesday (September 3).
The Home Affairs Advisor said, drugs are a big problem for us. Drug control is very important for us. For that we are going to take various steps. So that it comes under control.
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that it was the first meeting of the advisory council related to law and order, we mainly discussed the law and order situation of the country. We will take some steps on how to further improve the law and order situation.
“You know today is the time to surrender all illegal and legal weapons. The operation of the joint forces will start from 12 o’clock in the night to recover the weapons, he said.
The advisor said that the border issue was discussed in the meeting. You know we have a little problem on the Myanmar border.
Various steps are being taken to ensure that the upcoming Durga Puja can take place smoothly
Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, I hope the puja will be done very well. There will be no problem.
