Govt’s tax reform – vigil in front of teaching hospital!

A vigil was held in Jaffna demanding an immediate halt to the government’s arbitrary extraordinary tax reform and a solution to the drug shortage.

Today (Tuesday) people who gathered in front of Jaffna Teaching Hospital took part in the protest.

Government Medical Officers Association, Dentists, Forensic Medical Officers, Banks Trade Union Officers, Jaffna University Teachers Association Members, Sri Lanka Electricity Board Engineers Association and others participated in the protest.

Solution to problems

The protestors told the media that the government should come forward to provide solutions to the problems.
