Celine Dion, 55, made a rare public appearance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night (4), in Los Angeles, United States. She was responsible for announcing the last category of the night: Best Album.
“When I say I’m happy to be here, it’s from the bottom of my heart. Those who are blessed to be here at the Grammys should never underestimate the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people around the world,” she stated.
The artist was diagnosed stiff person syndrome in 2022, a rare neurological disorder that causes stiffness in the muscles, and canceled the European tour scheduled for 2023. At the end of last year, Dion’s sister, Claudette, said that the singer lost control over her muscles.
