The Grand Prix of Advertising 2.0 will be the platform where international and national experts will present the latest trends in digital marketing to students and professionals in the field. The event organized by the Franz Tamayo University, Unifranz, will conclude with the presentation of innovative campaigns to raise awareness among the population about the care of water and its rational use to be disseminated by public and private institutions.

“We cannot remain with our arms crossed or oblivious to the water problem we are experiencing. We want to contribute with a drop through a workshop, the workshop that will design strategies for water care and digital content evaluation procedures,” declared Daniel Lacunza, director of the Advertising and Marketing degree at Unifranz, headquarters of the event.

The event will be held between October 26 and 27 in the auditorium of the Chamber of Industry, Commerce and Services of Cochabamba (ICAM) and will start with the theme: “Storytelling: Creativity in digital content”; will follow the Sprint: creativity in times of IRL (in real life, for its acronym in English) which is marketing that takes place outside of social networks. In the afternoon of the first day, a workshop will be held to apply what has been learned to advertising campaigns.

For the second day the topic will be discussed: Storytelling “beyond metrics”; A discussion on the evaluation of digital strategies will follow; and Sprint: How to evaluate a digital strategy?

Among the international and national experts who will be part of the Grand Prix of Advertising 2.0 is Nacho Franchini, Creative Director of Fuego LATAM from Argentina, author of global campaigns, innovator in the use of simple resources to manage high-level products, listed among the Top 10 for Best Ibero-American Creative Director, widely awarded. The expert will work with the participants on the creativity part of content dedicated to water care.

Martín Olmi, Commercial Director of “Mucho Lab”, former manager of Mercado Libre and expert in managing digital marketing evaluation, the Argentine is another of the prominent figures at the meeting. With his experience, it will be possible to assess valuable content strategies, results in their dissemination through social networks and web pages.

Also present will be Sergio Nauffal from Colombia, co-founder of awaio.la, an initiative that promotes safe water territories and who has more than 10 years of experience leading infrastructure projects for the provision of water.

Bolivian figures such as Miguel Zambrana, director of Creative Art at the Tourett agency, join; Martín Díaz, Strategic Director at the Vintage agency and former Vice Minister of Communication Policies; and Gricel Gamarra, Marketing and Digital Communication consultant, author of books on marketing and CEO of PoeMarketing.

The water emergency

Kadir Lanza, director of the Financial Economic Engineering program at Unifranz, at the launch of the Advertising Grand Prix 2.0, assured that the topic was chosen due to the problem that the country is going through.
