The Emirates News Agency (WAM) writes that “His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed on Monday his Brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Sovereign of the brotherly Kingdom of Morocco.”
She added that an official welcome was reserved for HM King Mohammed VI upon the arrival of the Royal procession at the presidential palace “Qasr Al Watan”, in the capital Abu Dhabi.
Similarly, she reported that the national aerobatic team “Al Fursan” flew over the Palace, tracing ribbons of smoke in the sky in the red and green colors of the Moroccan flag.
For its part, the newspaper “Al Khalij” reports that the leaders of the two countries, HM King Mohammed VI and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane, signed on the occasion of this visit the Declaration “Towards an innovative, renewed and rooted partnership”, aimed at developing various areas of economic, commercial and investment cooperation and directing them towards broader horizons that meet the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples for development and prosperity.
Shedding light on the various agreements reached between the two brotherly countries during this Royal visit, the newspaper reports that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane declared that the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco are working together for stability, prosperity and sustainable development for all the peoples of the region.
“Al-Bayane” indicates, in the same vein, that an official welcome was reserved, Monday at the presidential palace “Qasr Al Watan” in Abu Dhabi, for His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Royal procession having been escorted by a squadron of horsemen, while a salvo of 21 cannon shots rang out as a sign of welcome to the Sovereign.
For its part, “Sky News Arabia” reports that His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held one-on-one talks, during which they discussed the historical fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.
The media also mentions the strength of the fraternal ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Morocco, based on understanding, mutual respect and cooperation, the solid foundations of which were laid by the late Sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahyan and HM King Hassan II.
