Grandmother Sipsy arrested for drowning one and a half year old girl in Kochi. They were arrested from Thiruvananthapuram. They were disguised at a lodge in Thampanoor. They went to Bimapalli this morning and were arrested by the Poonthura police on the basis of intelligence. The case was registered by the police under Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice Act. They told the Poonthura police that they had no role in the murder of the child. Earlier, a case was registered against them under the Juvenile Justice Department for failing to protect the child.
