jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Grant Thornton is again celebrating International Women’s Day which falls every March 8.

The celebration is Grant Thornton Indonesia’s commitment to continue supporting women in the world.

International Women’s Day 2024 also marks 20 years of Grant Thornton examining the development of the role of women occupying senior management levels in companies globally through the regular annual report “Women in Business”.

As the theme of this year’s report, “Pathways to Parity: 20 Years of Women in Business Insights” was chosen.

Not only publishing reports, this year Grant Thornton Indonesia also presented a media talk show with the theme “Women’s Confidence in the Face of Inclusivity”, to discuss in more depth how important self-confidence is in helping Indonesian women face challenges and achieve success in the world of work.

This event was opened by Grant Thornton Indonesia CEO Johanna Gani who expressed her appreciation and background for holding this activity.

“With the theme “Women’s Confidence in the Face of Inclusivity, we hope this event can provide inspiration, insight and strategies that can help women in Indonesia strengthen their self-confidence and together encourage positive changes in work culture,” said Johanna.

Survey results from the Women’s Confidence Survey state that self-confidence is often a determining factor in women’s career advancement.

Grant Thornton Indonesia encourages wider dialogue about the importance of self-confidence in helping Indonesian women achieve success.
