Joy in the Jordanian royal house: The heir to the throne, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah, the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, got engaged today (Wednesday) to his partner, Rajawa Khaled bin Musad al-Seif from Saudi Arabia.

The palace announcement stated that the engagement ceremony took place at Al-Saif’s father’s house in Riyadh in the presence of a limited number of guests from both families, including the Jordanian royal couple, the King’s uncle Prince Hassan, and other princes.
According to the publications in Jordan, the new bride is 28 years old, the same age as Prince Hussein, and she was born in Riyadh and has a degree in architecture from Syracuse University in the USA. She is the fourth daughter of Khaled bin Mosad al-Seif and Aza bint Naif Abdel-Aziz Ahad al-Sudairi , and the ancestors of the family were the sheikhs of the town of al-Attar near Riyadh since the days of King Abdul-Aziz al-Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia and its first king.
