A fire crew from the Haifa station under the command of Sergeant Major Dror Applebaum recently (Friday) acted to extinguish a vehicle, which caught fire while traveling on the coastal road heading south near the Atlit interchange.
Firefighters achieved rapid control of the fire through extinguishing foam and prevented the spread of the fire.
Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle was treated on the spot by medical officials when his condition was defined as mild.
