The Ministry of National Security will receive an additional NIS 9 billion, as was agreed within the state budget approved today (Friday). Among other things, according to the reasons presented by the officials of the ministry, the addition will enable the establishment of the National Guard, the recruitment of thousands of police officers and more than 1000 prison guards and hundreds of firefighters, as well as an increase in the salaries of the police officers.
Minister Itamar Ben Gabir said in response: “We did a great thing today, thank you.
