The Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte) and the Dominican National Brewery (CND) they recognized the bachatero Luis Segura already the journalist Alice Ortega with the Great Sovereign at the 2023 Sovereign Awards ceremony, held this Wednesday, March 22, at the Eduardo Brito National Theater.

“I dedicate this Sovereign to my dear wife who is 500 years old (with him) and to all my children,” added the singer before singing part of his hit “Pena por ti.”
While the American nationalized Dominican communicator dedicated the important medal to her mother, “the one who has taught me that love can do everything” and “to the old man next to her who have been married for 58 years, they will be 59, they have taught the value of work and the value of honesty and that together they have taught me that the Lord can do everything”.
“I never thought I would be on this stage receiving the Great Sovereign,” said Ortega.
Likewise, obviously moved, she recognized the work she has done for 32 years with her husband, businessman Fernando Hasbún.
The Great Sovereign is the statuette that distinguishes an important personality from the artistic or communication world and of which to date 31 artists have been awarded for their artistic performance and career, applauded and recognized by Acroarte.
The last four previous recognitions of the Great Sovereign went to Romeo Santos (2020), Niní Cáffaro (2019), Anthony Santos (2018) and Sergio Vargas (2017).
