“Greatest prize is to serve God”

by time news

An initiative by Raquel Santiago, daughter of the apostle Valdemiro Santiago, leader of the Igreja Mundial do Poder de Deus, the Troféu Gerando Salvação is an event that aims to reward artists from the Brazilian gospel world, such as singer and presenter Yudi Tamashiro, who took the stage this year to carry a message.

At the time, the artist said he was surprised by the size of the event, which was attended by names like Fabiana Sinfrônio, Jozyanne, Maria Marçal, Karina Bacchi, Anderson Freire, Ana Paula Valadão, Sarah Beatriz, Jessé Aguiar and others.

“I’ve sung at Rock in Rio, I’ve sung in several places and I’ve never seen potential like I saw on this stage”, said Yudi. “I’ve never been as chilled as I was here. … The greatest prize is to be an instrument in the hands of God.”

The tribute of the year went to the group Diante do Trono, which completes 25 years of existence. Thrilled, Ana Paula Valadão thanked the public. “Thank you to each one of you. It was a big surprise,” she said.

Highlight of the year

The highlight of the year in the Gerando Salvação Trophy went to teenage singer Maria Marçal. At just 13 years old, the young gospel artist won in three categories: Breakthrough Artist, Young Artist and Song of the Year.

“I am very happy and honored to be here. I remember watching the Trophy in the living room, with my family, on my cell phone”, she said, remembering the event that has existed since 2015.

Maria Marçal thanked her for winning and dedicated her victory to God, her family and her record label, according to information from Pleno News.

“I thank God; to my family who have always been by my side; to the top label in Brazil, MK Music, and also to Aunt Marina [de Oliveira, presidente da gravadora] and the whole team. The God who made me dream is the same one who makes me realize today”, added the young woman.
