Dimitris Giannakopoulos addressed once again the statements made during Sasha Vezenkov’s press conference yesterday, commenting on what the Angelopoulos brothers said.
After the “welcome back our player Vezenkov to Greece“, the owner of the “green” basketball club spoke harshly via Instagram story, after a video that was sent to him to watch, as he emphasizes below.
“I had only read excerpts. But I sat down and watched the video they sent me. I will say the following: ‘All these years having heard about the so-called “faturas” from Moraitis every day, having heard about the difficulties within the same house regarding how you grew up, I was saying okay guys it doesn’t matter.
These kids lack love and I kept extending my hand in friendship. But now I realized that you are complexed, vile, very vile, with a lot of malice in what you are saying.’ One thing I will tell you: you will spit out your mother’s milk. Nothing else.”
And he continued: “In life, at least in my life, there is not only sports. There are many other things. Social, personal life, professional life. For some of you to sit, I’m talking about journalists, and take my posts and relate them to sports. What are you doing? Do you want to throw more fuel on the fire to justify what you are getting? Shame on you.”
Later with a new post, Mr. Giannakopoulos wanted to clarify that what he said in his previous post was not referring to the Angelopoulos Brothers, emphasizing that there are other things in life besides sports.
