Green entrepreneurship: Launch of the 2nd edition of the Green Start-up competition
Rabat – The National Agency for Water and Forests is launching, jointly with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the second edition of the “Green Start-up” competition and sets May 17, 2024 as the deadline for submitting applications. application files.
As part of the Green Jobs II project, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Crédit Agricole du Maroc Group and the Green Energy Park of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, this initiative aims to promote green entrepreneurship through the support of green initiatives and innovations carried out by young Moroccans who reconcile economic development and the preservation of natural resources, particularly forestry, indicate the organizers in a press release.
This competition, in accordance with the objectives of the Forests of Morocco 2020-2030 strategy, is open to young leaders of innovative projects in the field of conservation and development of forest resources.
The projects must demonstrate a significant impact on the environmental, economic and social levels, particularly in rural and mountain environments and among young rural people, specifies the press release.
The five selected winners will receive motivational prizes to support the development and implementation of their projects.
