Ricarda Lang married mathematician Florian Wilsch a month ago. Now the Green Party leader has delighted everyone with an amusing snapshot.

The wedding was already a few weeks ago. Green politician Ricarda Lang celebrated on August 17 in Berlin and has been married to Florian Wilsch ever since. Now the 30-year-old is showing a photo for the first time that was taken shortly before the wedding – and the federal chairwoman of Alliance 90/The Greens is demonstrating one thing above all: humor.

The picture shows Lang in a loose, casual cotton dress, with light sneakers. In addition to the look, there is one detail that really catches the eye: Ricarda Lang’s hairstyle. The politician obviously still has her curlers in her hair. “Glamorous pre-wedding outfit,” she writes. A glamorous outfit before the wedding, in other words. A self-ironic comment on her comfortable wardrobe and her no-makeup appearance.

The snapshot obviously shows how Ricarda Lang looked shortly before her wedding – in the middle of preparations for her big day. Afterwards she had her hair styled, because later her hair fell slightly wavy onto her shoulders. This is demonstrated by pictures of the wedding that Lang shared a few weeks ago and in which her husband is seen in a dark red suit with a white tie and she in a floor-length dress and with red lipstick.

The fact that Ricarda Lang can not only pose perfectly styled, but also shows her natural side, is well received by her fans on Instagram. “Very nice and natural photo,” writes one user there, and another says: “It suits you very well!” Again and again, the comments praise the “naturalness,” but also point out how “rarely” one sees such photos of the preparations.

Ricarda Lang is known for her openness – she has even spoken about having children with her husband Florian Wilsch. The 30-year-old told the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” that she could well imagine starting a family. “And the thought is actually a driving force for me. For me, perhaps having children myself one day goes hand in hand with the responsibility of saying: I want to contribute to a world in which my children can grow up well.” And for Lang, that obviously also includes showing that not everything always has to be perfect…
