Zurich, November 4, 2024 – Greenfield Festival will take place next year from June 12 to June 14 and is pleased to announce the first wave of bands. Featuring SLIPKNOT, ELECTRIC CALLBOY, IN FLAMES, Heaven BLRN, ALLIGATOAH and more, the next edition of Féile na Glenntach promises to be hot, loud and wild! Ready to rock Interlaken with the following bands?
Slipknot | Slipknot’s massive and explosive live shows are a trademark, as are their legendary masks and costumes. It takes longer to list their hits than to count 1,000, but what kind of bangers the band released in their career: “Duality”, “Psychosocial”, “Untitled”, ”Before I Forget”, “The Devil in I”. . We look forward to another thunderous highlight with Slipknot!
Electric Call | They turned the world of music upside down. Their modern sound between pop synths of the 90s, driving alternative rock and explosive metalcore breaks all the boundaries of the genre. The sky is the limit? Space more likely if Electric Callboy continues like this!
In flames | Even 35 years later, the pioneers of melodic death metal are still playing the best alternative metal, to which they give their trademark. Singer Anders Fridén and guitarist Björn Gelotte are there from the second album “The Jester Race”, which was a milestone in the band’s history. We are very happy that In Flames will be returning
Burn Heaven | The German metalcore pioneer recently released the single “Keinen Step Rück” with the Donots, a powerful statement on the current political climate. Important, in times like these. On their last studio album “Of Truth And Sacrifice” Heaven Burn will prove impressively that they are dealing with one of the best guitar bands in modern metal.
Alligator | Alligatoah can make metal too?! Of course! As well as Tarek from KIZ, there is also Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit and the Guano Apes. Rap, hip hop, nu metal, crossover… Alligatoah is a great songwriter and a devilish entertainer. Their live show will be a highlight of the upcoming festival, the airfield is sure to rock!
Flogging Molly | It’s been far too long since we last welcomed Flogging Molly to the Glenntach Festival. Welcome to the Celtic Punk legends in their nearly 30 year career, as hardly any other band knows how to excite crowds like the band from Los Angeles. Flogging Molly never forgot their Irish musical roots, so even today they still feature accordion, fiddle and banjo along with Californian punk rock on all their songs. Bye!
No movement in White | A little metalcore, a little goth, a little industrial and a ton of adrenaline; all this and more is in the DNA of Motionless In White! With “Scoring the End of the World” they hit the jackpot! The sixth studio album by the Pennsylvania metalcore band Eternal has at least two songs with the songs “Masterpiece” and ”Sign Of Life”. Boy oh boy, what’s going to happen when they take the stage at Féile na n’Glenntach.
Spirit Box | The Canadian band has been around since 2016 and can count on a strong fan base with over 2 million monthly Spotify listeners. Spiritbox bring a breath of fresh air to the music world with their captivating mix of djent, heart metal and alternative metal and are finding an open ear. Be sure to rock out at the upcoming festival!
Lord of the Lost | When they played at Féile na n’Glenntach for the first time in 2017 we already knew they were going to have a big day. The band’s experience in the years since: including a tour supporting Iron Maiden and with their song “Blood & Glitter”, the Hamburg band stood out on Europe’s biggest stage at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool in 2023. We are really looking forward to presenting their greatest hits and latest songs next year!
Ginger | The Ukrainian groove metal band around singer Tatiana Shmayluk can proudly look back on exorbitant streaming numbers on Spotify and YouTube, which will continue to skyrocket only with the upcoming studio album 5. They spin their hits like “Pisces” and “Vortex” around our ears with gusto. If you want to see and hear a great mix of Metalcore x Djent x Progressive Metal, look no further! Jinjer will send again.
The Ghost inside | Our hearts beat faster when we hear that The Ghost Inside is coming back to Féile na Glenntach. It has been ten years since they last appeared on us. Hardly any other hard hitting melodic band can count on such a dedicated fan base as The Ghost Inside. On their live album “Rise From The Ashes: Live At The Shrine” they show brilliantly that their live shows get under your skin. Sledgehammer hits a tune hits gooseberries; and we are in the middle of it instead of right there!
Subway Go Sally | At the end of 2024, after more than 30 years as a band, Subway To Sally will release their 15th studio album. “Post Mortem” is the name of the latest work from the country metal masters from Potsdam. Subway To Sally addresses the darkness and euphoria in life; We will not be asked twice to welcome you to Interlaken. Let the pipes sound and the mountains tremble!
Competition | For more than 20 years, the German rock band knows how to attract people, create an atmosphere and always find the balance between virtuoso, dance songs and powerful, emotional ballads. Their current ninth album “Lautes Commemoration” provides a musical summary of what makes Versengold so special and successful. The heart, the humor, the sound!
Countries | They manage to combine different genres in one song and bridge the language gap between French and English. The power of the combination of hardcore punk, hip hop and metalcore is amazing. Florent Salfati, the singer of the band from Marseille, moves fluently between fast rapping, shouting and deep shouting. At Féile na n’Glenntach they will make the mosh pits go wild.
Threefold | The perfect triple balance between melody and noise is found, as timeless songs like “Black Honey” prove. After the release of their current album “Horizons / East” they used the time for a commemorative tour. Now we look forward to the next release and their amazing show at Féile na n’Glenntach.
Concrete death | The punk rockers Rheinberg released their eleventh studio album “ZEIG DICH!” recently. published. Betontod brilliantly shows how relaxed a band can be in its 4th decade. Tracks like the Reeperbahn love song “Nie mehr St. Pauli ohne Dich” or the energetic socially critical song “Das Kapital” concrete death at its best. Let’s go!
Me First And The Gimme Gimmes | The Gimmes are not a cover band… they are a cover band! The legendary punk band, featuring all-around stars Spike Slawson, Joey Cape and CJ Ramone, manages to craft a socially acceptable punk song out of every hit from every decade of every genre. When country hall and 80s beer collide, the only common denominator is Me First And The Gimme Gimmes. With changing guests on tour (Fat Mike from NOFX, Jay Bentley from Bad Religion, Stacey Dee from Bad Cop/Bad Cop,…) they are a unique band that creates a great atmosphere!
Constellation | The alternative rock band from Columbus, Ohio plays with science fiction, science and astronomy and takes us on a journey that takes us to a galaxy far, far away. On their previous albums, Starset has created a great mix of progressive metal elements, hard rock and electronic elements. We are looking forward to a great show that will immerse us in another world, both video and music.
Bad Wolves | With new energy, the rock band from Los Angeles presents its harder side and it’s very fun. The Bad Wolves celebrated their first big hit with the amazing, soulful Cranberries “Zombie” cover and are now breaking the billion mark on Spotify thanks to other hits like “Killing Me Slowly” and “Legends Never Die”. On tour with greats like Five Finger Death Punch or Papa Roach, now away to Interlaken at high speed!
High-vis | They break genre boundaries and take us on a musical journey that inspires you. “Guided Tour” is the name of the band from London’s new work, which mixes post-punk, garage and shoegaze. Psychedelic sounding guitars drive the melodic, sometimes frantic songs and they pair perfectly with the vocals and singing of front man Graham Sayle. A show you should definitely not miss!
Annokay | “Get Your Shit Together” is Annisokay’s latest declaration of war. The metalcore / post-hardcore band has released a rough track where you can hear the frustrations of the band members. The single expresses dissatisfaction with the conditions of today’s society and is a message to finally pull yourself together again. The band from Halle has become a bombastic band that will heat up the place for us. Don’t miss it!
Adam Man | This is punk rock… with a twist! The band wraps their lyrically high rock in a musical style that sometimes comes with the piano, sometimes sounds like a hard rock band in the stadium, but quickly polishes your face again. Attitude, wit, drive and melody scare Adam as they bring us hits like “Professors”, “Splinters of Grenades” and “Punk”. Welcome to Féile na n’Glenntach, we’re excited!
Collision of mind | They showed us a few years ago that they are one of the best live bands in Switzerland. The concentrated force of rapcore attracts every crowd and puts them under its spell. Torn lines, rap and shouts, catchy kites, skillful DJing, djent and fat metal combine to create a storm that no one can stop. The next album is currently in the works and until then it’s time to hit the mosh pit, these hooklines turn every circle pit into a real tornado!
goes on the attack, showing their indestructible side musically, but also allowing self-doubt lyrically and thus showing their vulnerable side. Feelings that many are in conflict with every day, but at the end of the day Archers also offer light, reach out and give us devil good songs that are good for the soul. Dynamic, powerful, ambitious… our tip: This band will achieve a lot in the next few years!
