Greeneer Co., Ltd., a Korean natural healing experience and travel information provider, announced that it is launching a summer experience program.
Greenier, which operates a healing experience course utilizing seasonal Korean natural materials, introduced the ‘Green Tea Tea Ceremony Course Available Only in Spring’ and the ‘Course to Plant Orchids That Resemble Spring Butterflies’ last spring.
Greeneer is launching a summer season premium experience course in Seoul and Busan, thanks to the popularity of the spring season program. All courses are operated in a Hanok space where you can feel the Korean sentiment. The programs operated in each course are composed of various forms such as one-day classes and performances where you can feel the traditional Korean culture.
Greenie operates the Seoul Experience Course in collaboration with two Hanoks. The first Hanok of the Seoul Experience Course is ‘Waok’ in Bukchon Hanok Village, which has been around for about 100 years. ‘Waok’ is a space that sells healthy cocktails and whiskey using fresh seasonal fruits, and operates an art gallery. Programs operated by ‘Waok’ include ‘Taste summer fruits and draw folk paintings’ and ‘Traditional soju tasting in the middle of summer’.
The second hanok in Seoul is ‘Muwolgwan’, located between Bukchon and Insadong, next to the site of Andong Byeolgung Palace, which was used for royal events during the Joseon Dynasty. ‘Muwolgwan’ means ‘where the moon dances’, and it is a place where traditional old hanoks are reinterpreted in a modern way with the hope that special people will have a special day like the royal events at Andong Byeolgung Palace. ‘Muwolgwan’ is where the ‘Midsummer Night Gayageum Concert’ is held.
At the same time, the Busan experience course is held at ‘Byeokyeonjae’ near Guseo Station in Geumjeong-gu. ‘Byeokyeonjae’, built by the hands of Hanok craftsmen, is a Hanok that reflects the traditional Hanok style without using nails. This space is used as a student etiquette education center on weekdays and as a ‘leisurely community’ space that pursues a wellness life on weekends, and is also used as a space for operating yoga programs.
Programs scheduled to be operated in the Busan Experience Course at ‘Byeokyeonjae’ include ‘Summer Day Lotus Tea Ceremony’, ‘Making Refreshing Traditional Carbonated Makgeolli’, and ‘A Midsummer Night Hanok Classic Concert’.
Kim Chae-gyeom, CEO of Greeneer, said, “Greeneer’s healing program is a place where any Korean can relax with peace of mind because it reflects the characteristics of each region of Korea,” and “We aim to provide premium Korean wellness services in the growing wellness market. While operating the experience, we learned that not only local residents but also many foreigners are interested in visiting. Accordingly, we plan to provide services targeting foreigners this summer.”
