Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir congratulated BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on her release by executive order after the fall of the government in the face of mass protests.
Fakhrul congratulated Begum Khaleda Zia who was undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital on Tuesday (August 6) after 12:00 pm. BNP circulated a picture of that time. In it, Khaleda Zia is seen smiling and taking flowers from the hands of BNP Secretary General.
BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan said that Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam visited the hospital on the occasion of Khaleda Zia’s release. He greeted the former prime minister with flowers and inquired about the treatment.
