Tennis fans should get ready for a big show.
All-conquering Novak Djokovic arrives in Sofia for a match with Grigor Dimitrov. The organizer is the foundation of the best Bulgarian tennis player of all time with the support of “Poschenska banka”, for which Dimitrov is an advertising person.
The demonstration match should take place on September 17 at 20:00 in “Arena Sofia”.
Grand Slam record holder and Olympic champion Djokovic and Dimitrov last met at the Masters 1000 in Paris at the end of last season. Officially, the Serb has no participation in Bulgaria, but years ago he was in Sofia for the filming of one of the action movies and toured the nightclubs in Studentski Grad.
Grigor Dimitrov’s foundation is managed by his mother Maria. During the coronavirus pandemic, the former world No. 3 bought ventilators for needy hospitals in his hometown of Haskovo.
