Comedian Jo Se-ho shared a behind-the-scenes story about his father-in-law ahead of his upcoming wedding in October.
On the ENA entertainment program ‘Hyeonmu Case’ aired on the 25th, groom-to-be Jo Se-ho was shown strengthening his friendship with his close friends Nam Chang-hee, Kang Jae-jun, and Yoo Byung-jae by having a ‘bachelor shower’.
Jo Se-ho said about what made him decide to get married, “During our home date, I saw her watching TV and she looked so pretty and comfortable, so I thought I wanted this moment to last.”
When Jeon Hyun-moo asked, “Is (the bride-to-be) okay with the celebrity profession?” Jo Se-ho replied, “She said she was worried at first, but after meeting with her celebrity friends, she thought, ‘This person would be okay. ’”
He also recalled the moment when he went to ask his future father-in-law and mother-in-law for permission to marry. Jo Se-ho said, “There was a day when I first met my father-in-law and mother-in-law,” and “My father-in-law said, ‘You came to ask permission, right? Let’s talk comfortably since I want to give permission,’ and I was touched,” making others envious.
He added, “I secretly wanted to talk about that first. Even though there is a 9-year age difference (with my bride-to-be), thankfully, my future in-laws were very pleased.”
He also said, “I hosted the wedding of my bride-to-be’s older sister (during our dating period),” and “When I told him that my girlfriend and I were acquaintances, my father-in-law said, ‘I like that guy. Can’t you date him?'”
Jo Se-ho revealed in January of this year that he had been dating his non-celebrity girlfriend for about a year with the intention of marriage.
