Coastal: 51 thousand people are to participate in the Group 2 examination to be held tomorrow in Coastal district.
The Tamil Nadu Civil Service Selection Board has announced that the examination for the 5,400 vacant posts in Group-2 and Group-2A in Tamil Nadu will be held on the 21st of tomorrow. 11.78 lakh people across Tamil Nadu have applied for this examination.
Following this, Group-2 examinations are to be held in Tamil Nadu tomorrow. In Kadalur district, examinations are being held at Kadalur, Virudhachalam, Chidambaram and Panruti. For this, 122 examination centers have been set up in the district, including 42 examination centers on the coast.
For the convenience of the students who come to write the examination, basic facilities including lighting and drinking water facilities are being arranged in all the rooms. There are 51 thousand 660 candidates in the examination throughout the district. Each classroom is organized in such a way that there are only 20 candidates appearing for the examination.
Additional Collector-led flying squads and mobile teams have been set up to oversee the distribution of question papers and answer sheets.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators and electronic watches are not allowed in the examination centers. Candidates should come to the examination room at 8.30 am one hour before the examination which starts at 9.30 am .Those coming after 8.59 am will not be allowed.
Everyone will be allowed to enter the examination center after a heavy test. Candidates coming to the examination room should download and bring all the parts of the hall ticket. Also have an ID card for something.
In this situation, the examination question paper required for the coastal district arrived at the treasury at Kadalur Manjakuppam in a lorry yesterday. Additional Collector Ranjit Singh, RDO, Adiyaman Kaviyarasu, Tashildar Poopalachandran and officers were dropped off in the room with police security in the presence.
The room is constantly locked and guarded by gun-toting police. All the question papers are to be sent to the respective examination centers with police security from this evening, an official said.
