GTA Online Update Latest Version: With the GTA Online game update up and running on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, fans new and old are getting the game back up and running. These new releases, dubbed GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced, have renewed interest in GTA Online over the past few months, especially with the promise that these enhanced features will make their way to the Steam version soon.
One of the first updates to the game since this version was launched now, and while it doesn’t add new content, it does make a lot of changes in quality of life that fans have been wanting for a while. This coincides with a major bug-fixing update for GTA 5 across all platforms.

This update fixes a bunch of issues that have plagued different versions of the game for a while. The PS5 issue was particularly strong as the mod reactions on a few cars were too strong. Next, there were Xbox Series X/S issues with game audio not loading when starting a game or joining a party.
Furthermore, the full list of patch notes fixes “several, unspecified” bugs that locked the game when trying to port characters to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.

A fix in Update 1.41 improves the experience of the recently released PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions. Changes have been made that improve the transition between Story Mode and Online. It’s a simple solution, but it should save you time and frustration when trying to get online.
Extended and Optimized on PC…sort of
The extended and enhanced version of GTA 5 has been available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for some time now, and it takes game performance and graphic fidelity to a new level. With 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on consoles, the game takes full advantage of the technology on offer.
This upgrade was also promised for the Steam version of the game on PC. It’s not quite ready yet, but this update is a promising sign. PC players have discovered that Expanded & Enhanced files have been added to the game directory, which is currently empty.
