Malikappuram is the most popular movie in recent Malayalam cinema. Directed by debutant Vishnu Shashi Shankar, the film featured a child actor named Devananda in the central role. Devananda played the role of Kalyani. Kalyani’s friend Piyush Unni was also a child actor named Sripad. Everyone who is praising the film is also praising the performance of these child actors. Now actress Swasika Vijay is talking about the film and her performance.

Dear Unni, saw Malikpuram. Today, everyone is looking at the audience acceptance of Unni in theaters with great surprise. But I’m not surprised, nor is anyone who knows Unni very well like me. Unni Mukundan is a person who approaches cinema with so much dedication and passion. I was sure that the Malayali audience would hug Unni like this once. Thanks to Unni, director Vishnu and screenwriter Abhilash Pillai for taking me back to those old memories after four years in Malikappuram. Thank you very much for giving me the devotion to wait until I am 50 years old to climb the mountain. After watching the movie, the image of Ayyappan in my mind changed to that of Unni. A State Award or National Award is definitely guaranteed for its child actors for their performances in this film. Wish them all the luck for that. As someone who has been with Unni all the time, this growth of Unni also makes me very proud. Malikappuram full of heart. Watch the movie in theaters.
