Juan Ignacio Maegli

Considered one of the greatest references in the history of the sailing in GuatemalaThe athlete has stood out for his exceptional performance in other competitions of international importance, such as previous editions of the Olympic Games.

The sailor has a long career in the sport, having started sailing at the age of four and making his debut in his first competition in 1998, where he won his first medal, bronze.

This 2024, in his fifth consecutive participation in the Olympic Games, Juan Ignacio Maegli will perform in the ILCA 7 specialty sailing. The tests of this discipline will take place from 9 to 16 July in Marseille, France.

Adriana Ruano

Was the First woman in the discipline of gun shooting in Guatemala to qualify for the Olympic Gamesparticipating in the Tokyo 2020 edition. Currently, Adriana Ruano is one of the most outstanding shooters in the country thanks to her talent and dedication.

In 2021, she was recognized as the best Latin American in the world ranking of the women’s trap event.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will be the second time the outstanding shooter has competed in the world competition. The women’s trap events are scheduled for July 30 and 31 at the Chateauroux Shooting Centre, located in the town of the same name in Indre, France.
