The Executive’s decision only extends the break for the public sector, allowing them to enjoy a long weekend.

Although the private sector employees will not be able to take advantage of a long weekend in September, there are still other holidays to enjoy this 2024. One of these is a long weekend, being the last of the year: the rest of November 1, All Saints’ Day, which will fall on a Friday, providing an opportunity to enjoy an extended break.

Independence activities on the 14th and 15th

The week leading up to September 15 will be marked by a series of activities that will culminate in the great celebration of independence.
