Guayaquil celebrates 83 years of the Naval Battle of Jambelí with ceremony and parade – La Nación

The income of the President Daniel Noboa al Naval Civic Complex of the Navy, which is located south of Guayaquil, marked the beginning of the ceremony and parade for the 83rd anniversary of the Naval Battle of Jambelí this Thursday, July 25th.

The Head of State was received by the Minister of Defense, Jean Carlos Loffredo, and by the commanders of each of the Armed Forces of Ecuadorwho paid him homage.

With Noboa already seated in the stands, the ceremony began. The first thing was the presentation of the decoration for naval merit in the rank of Grand Cross, the highest recognition awarded by the Armadato two prominent officers.

Second, the delivery of floral offerings. On behalf of the Presidency, Noboa did it and on behalf of the Ministry of DefenseLoffredo; that is, two representatives of the function Executive.

On behalf of the judicial branch, the president of the National CourtJosé Suing. And from the electoral point of view, Diana Atamaint, president of the National Electoral Council (CNE).

Two more offerings were missing: that of the Transparency and Social Control Functionand the one that the President of the Assembly had to deliver, Henry Kronfleon behalf of the Legislative function, but did not attend. Neither was the Mayor of Guayaquil, Aquiles Alvarez.
