Guelmim: School bus handover on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the Green March
Guelmim – School buses and other vehicles for patients with kidney failure were handed over on Monday in Guelmim to commemorate the 48th anniversary of the glorious Green March.
The wali of the Guelmim Oued-Noun region, governor of the Guelmim province, Mohamed Najem Abhay, accompanied by the president of the regional council, Mbarka Bouaida, heads of external services and elected officials, supervised the handover of the keys to four buses, including two for school transport in the commune of Ifrane Atlas Saghir, a school bus for the benefit of the children of officials of the local prison in the city of Bouizakarne, in addition to a bus for the transport of patients with renal failure in the commune of Taghjijit.
With a budget of 2.3 million DH financed by the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), this project aims to promote schooling, combat school dropout and improve the provision of care for patients with kidney failure.
The wali of the region also handed over honor loan checks to 16 young entrepreneurs carrying out projects at the regional level for a total cost of 1.31 MDH on a total of 112 projects as part of efforts to support the improvement of employability and the revitalization of businesses in the region.
Materials and equipment for 10 projects were also handed over for an amount of approximately 3 million dirhams financed by the INDH and the Agency for the Promotion and Economic and Social Development of the Southern Provinces.
