These agreements signed during a ceremony chaired by the governor of the province of Guercif, Hassan Belmahi, in the presence of members of the CPDH and elected officials, are intended to allow project leaders to benefit from financial support and assistance capable of ensuring the continuity, success and sustainability of their projects.
This meeting was an opportunity to present the results of the “Improving income and economic inclusion of young people” program, part of the third phase of the INDH (2019-2023), as well as to highlight the efforts made to promote human capital and foster the economic inclusion of young people.
The activities and achievements of the Youth Platform were also on the agenda of this meeting, during which several beneficiaries gave their testimonies on the projects supported by the Initiative.
In the process, the head of the Social Action Division in the province of Guercif (DAS), Hassan Kara, announced that the new vocation of the INDH aims to promote the human capital of the rising generations, capable of giving beneficiaries the tools and means to take charge of themselves.
“A total of 33 young entrepreneurs have benefited from financial support within the framework of the axis (Support for entrepreneurship), in addition to 20 other cooperatives (axis of support for the social and solidarity economy)”, he said in a statement to MAP.
He added that 171 projects were financed to the tune of more than 18 million dirhams (MDH), including 14.5 MDH as a contribution from the INDH within the framework of the entrepreneurship axis, in addition to financial support estimated at 5.4 MDH for the implementation of 38 other projects (axis of support for the social and solidarity economy). The contribution of the INDH to the financing of these projects amounted to 3.2 MDH.
