A guest at Disneyland in Anaheim, California caused quite a scene on Sunday afternoon during the busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The individual, whose identity has not been shared, stripped off their clothes during the It’s A Small World attraction, leading to their arrest and removal from the park by local authorities.
According to a Disneyland Resort representative, the guest got off the ride while it was in motion, prompting park operators to stop the attraction once they were made aware of the situation. The person was subsequently detained, booked by the Anaheim Police Department, and removed from the property altogether.
As a result of the incident, “It’s A Small World” was shut down for about an hour while park operators inspected the attraction. Fortunately, no guests were physically harmed, and the ride resumed operations around 3 p.m. local time.
Videos of the incident went viral on social media, with one clip showing the guest walking through the sets of “It’s A Small World” without a shirt on. Another video shows the person sitting and touching the animatronics that decorate the ride, as park guests are heard pleading with the individual to stop and worrying about potential damage to the props.
While the reason for the guest’s behavior remains unclear, their actions certainly made a memorable impression at the theme park.
