Ahmedabad: Suspended constable of Gujarat Police, Nita Chaudhary has been arrested by ATS. Nita Chaudhary was suspended after she was caught with a liquor smuggler in Kutch. Nita Chaudhary absconded after getting bail in a case. This was revealed when the Sessions Court rejected her bail. After this, SOG and Local Crime Branch along with Kutch District Police were searching for Nita Chaudhary. Finally, Gujarat ATS found constable Nita Chaudhary in CID Crime Branch. Nita Chaudhary had filed a petition in Gujarat High Court to avoid arrest, however, before the petition was listed, ATS caught Nita Chaudhary. Nita Chaudhary was arrested along with a bootlegger (liquor smuggler) named Yuvraj Singh Jadeja.

Two cases were registered in Kutch
After being arrested by Kutch East District Police, two separate offences were registered against Nita Chaudhary at Bhachau police station under IPC 307 and prohibitory orders. Nita Chaudhary was arrested along with a listed bootlegger named Yuvraj Singh Jadeja. The lower court granted bail to Nita Chaudhary in the offence of 307. In this, she was accused of trying to run her Thar over the policemen. After getting bail from the lower court in the offence of 307, Bhachau police filed an application in the Sessions Court.
