Riyadh: A huge explosion at a restaurant operating in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. Preliminary information is that the accident was caused by a cooking gas leak. Damage was done to the restaurant building and equipment. The Civil Defense team reached the spot and carried out the rescue operation. Authorities said no one was injured.
The Saudi air force repulsed a Houthi missile attack on Riyadh
Riyadh: The Saudi Air Force has repulsed a ballistic missile attack by the Yemeni rebel militant group Houthis on the Saudi capital. Saudi Defense Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki said the missile, which was aimed at Riyadh on Monday night, had been destroyed by Patriot missiles before reaching its target.
