Satyamangalam: The festival has not been held at the Satyamangalam Pannari Amman temple for two years due to the spread of corona. The current Gundam Festival started yesterday morning with flower arrangements.
The Gundam festival will be held from early morning on the 21st till noon on the 22nd. Yesterday, the Pannari Amman Sapparam Tiruvedi Ula departed from the temple and reached the village of Sikkarasambalayam. Veediula will be held in Sikkarasambalayam village throughout the day. Tomorrow Ikkarai will go to Thottampalayam via areas including Negamam Puthur, Velliampalayam Puthur and Thayirpallam.
On the 11th it reaches Thottampalayam, on the 12th it reaches Uppandiyoor, Baguthampalayam and Thandampalayam. On the 13th and 14th Satyamangalam Nagar area, on the 15th the road starts from Kottuvirampalayam and ends in the villages including Puthuvadavalli and Pasuvapalayam and reaches the Sabbaram temple that night.
