Six people, including two policemen, were killed in a shootout between smugglers and the police in Australia. Police went to Wiambula in Queensland to investigate a missing person. Then some people hiding in the houses there fired at the police.
The guards also retaliated. On hearing the information, armed forces rushed in a helicopter and surrounded and opened fire. Two police officers were killed in the incident. 4 people including 1 woman who attacked the police were shot dead. Queensland Police are investigating the incident.
