Milan, 26 September. (time.news) – The Milan magistrate Roberto Crepaldi accepted the request for abbreviated probation for the footballers Mattia Lucarelli, 24-year-old son of the former Livorno striker Cristiano, and Federico Apolloni, and three other friends, all accused of gang sexual violence committed in Milan, in March 2022, against a 22-year-old American student.
The judge accepted the advice of the defense – produced by the lawyers Leonardo Cammarata and Francesca Nobili, a “condition” set for the alternative procedure, and accepted the request of the prosecutor who asked for proof to the contrary, i.e. his own advice to respond to what was argued by the defenders. According to the consultants of the suspects, the alleged victim was present to herself: that evening the young woman – having analyzed the data in their possession: weight, height, glasses drunk – “had a blood alcohol level compatible with driving”, therefore less than 0.5 grams of alcohol per liter of blood, explained lawyer Cammarata at the end of the hearing.
In the consultation there is also space to analyze the toxicological data, to outline the psychological part of the 22 year old as well as to delve deeper into how the memory is formed. All points which will have to be answered by the consultants chosen by the deputy Letizia Mannella and the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo, holders of the file, who have indicated the expert anatomopathologist Cristina Cattaneo, as well as a pool of experts who will have to delve into the toxicological and psychological part. The consultation will be filed in January, before the hearing set for January 30, 2024.
