Guri City (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyeon) held a briefing session for the second half of the 2025 college entrance exam strategy at the Dream Hall on the 5th floor of the Guri City Youth Culture House for three days on November 15th,21st,and 22nd.
this briefing session was held under the theme of ‘Understanding and preparing for the college entrance reform plan and college admissions process’ and ‘Going to college through the student record complete admission process’ and was held with lectures by Kim seong-gil, a teacher at Okryeon Girls’ High School, Cho Man-gi, a teacher at Dasan High School, and Yoon Yun-gu, a teacher at Handae Affiliated High School.
A total of 149 prospective high school students (current middle school seniors), prospective high school seniors (current high school seniors, high school seniors) and their parents who are preparing for college entrance exams attended, and customized learning strategies for the changing entrance examination system were systematically provided to participants. It got a good response.
Guri Mayor Baek Kyeong-hyeon said, “We will continue to do our best to provide the latest entrance exam details from various angles so that Guri City students can prepare for a radiant future.”
Meanwhile, Guri City (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyeon) celebrated the Week for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on the 27th. A joint campaign was promoted.
To raise social interest in the eradication of violence against women,this campaign was conducted around Guri Station Square,which has a large floating population,and carried out activities such as distributing promotional materials to prevent violence against women,including preventing illegal filming and digital sex crimes,and detecting the installation of illegal filming devices. We focused on creating a consensus that it is indeed notable to maintain a safe daily life together.
In particular, this campaign was carried out jointly with the Guri City Illegal Filming Citizen Surveillance Group (Chairman Hong Yeon-hee), the Guri City Branch of the Gyeonggi-do women’s Organization Council (Branch Chairman Hong Yeon-hee), and the Guri City Autonomous Crime Prevention Team (Captain Jeon Seong-gyu), adding to its meaning.
