Gurman revealed that iPadOS 16.1 will be released in the week of Oct. 24, which is within October as Apple has said. And if looking at the specified version number, it is believed that Apple will skip iPadOS 16 to iPadOS 16.1 in the full version.

Because at the launch it said that this feature will only work with iPads that use the M1 chip or higher. But in the latest iPadOS 16 Beta version, this feature has been added to the previous iPad Pro too, allowing the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro models that don’t use the M1 chip to have Stage Manager capabilities.
