Guro-gu has started accepting applications for the 2024 ‘Excellent Job Creation Company Certification’. Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will be accepting applications for the 2024 Excellent Job Creation Company Certification from September 23 to September 30.
The certification system for excellent job creation companies is a project that the district is promoting to foster small and medium-sized enterprises and create local jobs, and a total of 61 companies have been certified over the past three years.
The district awards certificates and plaques to companies that are excellent at creating jobs, and grants them priority participation in various support projects, such as support for master’s and doctoral degrees at Soongsil University, support for remote work at vacation destinations (workation), and preferential selection for companies participating in the G Valley Export Consultation and Overseas Market Development Team.
Additionally, excellent job-creating companies will be exempted from local tax audits for two years and will be eligible for financial and administrative benefits, such as preferential treatment in Guro-gu small and medium-sized enterprise loan support.
The target of this certification is a small and medium-sized enterprise with 5 or more regular employees that has had its main office in Guro-gu for more than 1 year as of the announcement date, and has had an employment growth rate of 10% or more in the past 2 years or an increase in the number of employees of 10 or more. In this case, workers who are covered by employment insurance and have signed a work contract for less than 1 year and part-time workers are excluded.
The district will select the final certified companies in order of highest scores among the companies that meet the application requirements and announce the selection results on the Guro-gu Office website on October 15.
Selected companies will be presented with certificates and plaques at the job declaration ceremony held at the Shindorim Techno Mart Grand Ballroom at 1:35 PM on October 30th.
