Gurugram: A frightening news has emerged about the country’s largest mall Ambience located in Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. Ambience Mall was evacuated on Saturday when an email claimed that a bomb was planted in its premises. Gurugram police officials gave this information. They said that the bomb disposal team and dog squad are on the spot and the search operation is going on.
What was written in the threatening mail?
Police officials said that the Ambience Mall management received a bomb threat email at 9.27 am. This email, sent from [email protected], reads: I have planted bombs in the building. Everyone inside the building will be killed. None of you will survive. You deserve death. I planted bombs in the building because I hate my life. Peggy and Nora are behind this attack.Nothing suspicious has been found yet
Assistant Police Commissioner Vikas Kaushik said that nothing suspicious has been found so far in the search operation. He said that we have completed the search of 70 percent of the mall and our team including bomb squad and dog squad are thoroughly checking every corner of the mall… nothing suspicious has been found so far.
Emails are sent with the intention of intimidating
In an official statement, Gurugram Police has appealed to people not to panic. Police said that so far it has been found that such emails are sent with the intention of scaring people and they are trying to trace the source.
