jpnn.com – The National Awakening Party (PKB) has signaled that it will shift its support for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election from the green-colored political party’s previous support for Anies Baswedan at the provincial level.
Deputy General Chairman of PKB Jazilul Fawaid or Gus Jazil said that his party’s DPW in Jakarta initially went smoothly in supporting Anies as a gubernatorial candidate for the province with the Monas icon.

Recently, said Gus Jazil, the political climate in PKB has changed in supporting Anies as the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial candidate.
“This means that the proposal from the DKI PKB DPW has not been smooth. Initially, it was very smooth, but it turned out that the weather showed changes,” said the legislator from Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives when asked by media crew at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (12/8).
Gus Jazil said that the weather changes could not be interpreted as PKB withdrawing support for Anies in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election. “Not withdrawing support,” he said.
However, he said, PKB considered the recent political dynamics after the party elite met with Gerindra officials.
“PKB is considering the developing dynamics,” said Gus Jazil.
