The former two-time champion coach with Club Sport Emelec, Gustavo Quinteros, passed through the program “Emelec your dad” from Ruge News, where he revealed that he had a very good relationship with all the players he managed during his time at the ‘light bulb’.

«Every now and then you try to find out how the team is doing and everything that is happening. A few days ago Oscar Bagui came to visit me, he was here at the Vélez Sarsfield training session. I get along very well with all the players I had at that time, I have a relationship with Pedro Quiñónez, with Ángel Mena, with Enner Valencia I was talking a couple of days ago too, I invited him to come and play here.»

He heaped praise on Miller Bolaños and stressed that when they both shared the same role at Emelec, the few discipline problems that arose were handled thanks to the players and coaching staff:

«“With Miller at Emelec we had almost no problems, we were able to handle him. The group we had controlled him very well, they helped him, we did too, he was very committed to Emelec, to his teammates and to us. We still have a very good relationship.”

“Miller is a great football player, he is also a great person and you always feel like helping him so he can be well. I hope he can be a great player again like he was, he made us win championships, he made a big difference. I have the best memories” he added.
