No matter how many romantic films have come out in Tamil, new romantic films have not lost popularity among the people. Beyond Tamil films, films like Premam released in Kerala and Arjun Reddy in Telugu have run for over 100 days in Tamil Nadu. The bachelor movie starring GV Prakash Kumar in that line is also on the internet. Director Satish has given the love, bond, fight, division, etc. between the two who work in IT to the minds of the Tamil fans in the style of Malayalam film. Although this is his first film, he has said exactly what he came to say.
Director Satish has created a style for himself, even though it is a common story of love after seeing the heroine, then going after the heroine, the two joining and then splitting. First of all compliments to GV Prakash who acted without much heroism, without dialogues and knowing that he was going to be humiliating himself throughout the story. Divyabharati is lucky to have such a character in the first film as the heroine. The film manages to entertain as well as inform, despite the fact that it is completely without makeup. Divya has become the dream girl of the fans.
They are followed by Bhagwati Perumal, Nakkalites Arun and his friends who accompany him throughout the film. Muniskanth helps to move the story even after it comes in the second half. Every scene is taken as it happens before our eyes. Theni Ezra alone can be praised for this. The scenes between friends and the house where they stay are all well filmed. The songs and background music in Sindhu Kumar’s music are a strong side to the film. The film runs for almost three hours and is well edited by Shaun Lokesh. The scenes that need to be trimmed in the film are monotonous but they add strength to the story. Access Factory, which has been producing weird films like Ratchasan, Oh My God, is making a good film this time as well.
The chemistry between GV Prakash and Divyabharati is so well set that the fights and love between them give us pain. Big congratulations to the hero GV Prakash for agreeing to such a climax scene. One wonders how the director persuaded GV to the end of a story like this that even the introductory man thinks a little. Satish has portrayed the true story of his friend’s life through perfect characters. Bachelor is all set to hit the screens after a long hiatus.
