Gwalior: The Crime Branch has taken action against those who were making people bet through online gaming apps. The team has arrested five accused. The accused are from Jammu and Telangana. All of them were betting by renting a flat in Tansen Nagar area of Gwalior. A person named Karan Rathore had rented this flat. He is also said to be the head of this entire gang. However, he fled from there as soon as the police team arrived.
Actually, for some time, information was being received about betting through Lotus 360 online gaming app. They came to know that this illegal business is being run from a flat located in Tansen Nagar of Hajira police station area of the city. On which the crime branch team raided and took action.
These items were found with the accused
The Crime Branch has arrested five accused from the flat. The arrested accused include Rajesh Baniya Jammu, Jatin Kumar resident of Jammu, Mohammad Sariq Hyderabad, Munis Lohar Jammu and Anil Kumhar Jammu. Mobiles, laptops, routers and items related to online gaming apps have been recovered from them. Currently, the police team is interrogating them and searching for the main accused Karan Rathore.

Police was shocked to hear what the accused told. In police interrogation, it was found that Karan Rathore, a resident of Gwalior, was running this online betting by renting a flat. Karan also used to pay salary to these accused. He used to give 40,000 rupees salary to each one. Every day betting of lakhs of rupees was done through online games. In such a situation, the crime branch is trying to find out the accounts of Karan by interrogating the arrested accused. Police is still searching for the main accused Karan Rathore and his accomplices.
