Gwyneth Paltrow, the Academy Award-winning actress, revealed her retirement plans and vision for her future life in a recent interview with Bustle. The 51-year-old actress stated that she intends to completely disappear from public life and never be seen again.

Paltrow, who founded the wellness company Goop in 2008, also expressed her desire to retire from the business in a few more years. She plans to sell Goop and shift her focus towards her family. Married to producer Brad Falchuk since 2018, Paltrow is a stepmother to his two children, Isabella and Brody, and shares two children, Apple and Moses, with her ex-husband Chris Martin.

The actress explained her love for creativity, collaboration, innovative thinking, and future planning, which she wants to explore outside the public eye. Paltrow’s Goop was valued at $250 million in 2018, according to the New York Times.

Despite her successful career on-screen, Paltrow has been less involved in film and TV projects over the past decade. Her most recent appearances include “Avengers: Endgame” in 2020 and Netflix’s “The Politician.” However, she admitted to forgetting her role as Pepper Potts in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” during a cooking show appearance with director Jon Favreau and chef Roy Choi.

During a playful interview segment with “Vogue,” Paltrow joked about using her Academy Award as a doorstop, highlighting her casual approach to the prestigious accolade she received for her performance in “Shakespeare in Love” in 1998.

As Paltrow plans for her retirement, her departure from the public eye and the potential sale of Goop signal a significant transition for the actress and entrepreneur. With her focus turning towards family and personal life, Paltrow is preparing to embark on a new chapter away from the spotlight.
