Time for diagnosis and treatment!

Every working day is different, because your clients and their system have a wide variety of requests for help. As a GZ-psychologist you are the pivot in the rehabilitation process in the diagnosis and treatment. Just like us, you look at what is possible and make participation possible for the client. Do you have no experience with visual problems yet? Never mind, we will teach you that through our academy.

This is what you will do:

  • performing (neuro)psychological research and mapping visual perception and cognitive disorders;
  • treating psychological problems related to the visual complaints;
  • directing and coordinating the content of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for adult care;
  • providing psycho-education to the client and the environment about the visual impairment and learning to deal with the impairment adequately;
  • directing and coordinating the content of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for adult care;
  • supervising basic psychologists;
  • collaborating with colleagues inside and outside the organization;
  • providing information and training, both internally and externally.

This is you:

  • a health care psychologist;
  • you have knowledge and experience with psychodiagnostics and treatment methods;
  • you have a transcending view and can bring professional interests together;
  • you are a team player with persuasiveness, respectful attitude and a healthy dose of humor;
  • you focus on innovation and growth;
  • you are a great communicator;
  • it is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience in working with clients with a visual impairment and/or visual perception problems.
