Haaland was so dismal against Arsenal that the Norwegian could not create any goalscoring opportunities, let alone goals or assists. He took 4 shots from the field in 90 minutes. Which is just inconsistent with its name.
After such a performance, Keane told Sky Sports, ‘His game on the field is very poor. It’s not just about today, I think in general. He is the best in the world. But his general game as a player is very poor.’
“He needs to improve it (the game),” Keane said, adding that Haaland needs to improve his game on the field rather than just waiting for goals. He is more like a second level player. This is how I see him. He is a great striker. But he needs to improve.’
