HACKED MOBILE PHONE | The problem with the battery that indicates that our mobile has been hacked and they can spy on us

by time news

The modern age continually amazes us with new discoveries and inventions that we would not even have imagined a few years ago.

We can talk on the phone with family and friends from one end of the world to the other and make video calls whenever we want, for very little money. Gone are the days when people cut their Internet connection for fear of skyrocketing bills. And yet, come to think of it, about 15 years have passed, which is not a very long time after all if we think about the progress made so far.

For 10 or 15 euros, we can even have unlimited gigabytes and do with the mobile everything that was previously relegated only to the PC.

This new technological reality, however, hides pitfalls that are impossible to ignore. It is no coincidence that the concept of privacy has been at the center of extensive debate for many years.

Indeed, although the Internet makes our lives easier, it also exposes us to the risk of our personal data being hacked.

Among these infractions, one in particular seems to cause some fear among network users: the hacking of the mobile phone itself. But how can we know if our mobile phone is being hacked or not? Here are some signs to watch out for.

The first and most classic refers to the battery. Experts warn that when a mobile phone’s battery runs out very quickly, seemingly for no reason, we should be alarmed. Hackers could take control of the smartphone and use it quietly, consuming all the available charge.

The second sign has to do with receiving messages from unknown senders. They are those cases in which we receive text messages with only digits or figures from unknown phone numbers.

Another indication refers us to the contacts registered on the phone and on WhatsApp. It may happen that one finds numbers stored in their address book, without knowing who they are.

The sudden and unexpected appearance of applications that have never been downloaded is also not normal and could indicate that someone is checking our mobile phone.

These are four signs that our mobile phone shows us, but there are also many others.

Stealing someone’s data means exposing them to online scams or significant financial loss, especially if bank accounts are hacked.

Be careful with passwords, which must be changed periodically, and with the consents we give each time apps or websites ask us for them.
